Hi there, I am Cindy Lin.
I am a home staging educator, podcaster and a photographer who works internationally.
I started in real estate as a buyer’s agent and a luxury property manager. Before relaunching Staged4more as a School of Home Staging in 2017, I had worked as a home stager in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than ten years and had built a 6-figure, award-winning home staging business operating out of a 5,800 square feet warehouse.
In 2019, I was voted one of the Top 75 Most Influential People in Home Staging by Real Estate Staging Association. My home staging blog was named #3 of Top 100 Home Staging Blogs and Websites For Home Stagers in 2018. My podcast, The Home Staging Show, is the longest-running and the #1 podcast on iTunes dedicated to home staging.
It is my goal to provide modern, practical and quality home staging education to help home stagers excel and build profitable and sustainable businesses.
This is not your mother’s interior styling course.
Cash in the Cushions combines both design theory & practice in interiors and composition.
The Cash in the Cushions course studies the process of composing a room through both the perspectives of a home stager and a photographer so that you will understand how to create strong images that draw in the buyers and sell for you.
We also examine different storytelling techniques in other creative disciplines so that you can successfully create interiors that sell & attract your ideal clients.
By understanding how your home staging work is photographed and presented online, you can refine your staging work to appeal and attract your ideal clients.
As a stager, even when I had consistent clients, I still felt that my staging didn’t have that va-va-voom I wanted. Often times, the staging looked good in person but the photos I got back from the photographers felt like they were missing something.
It wasn’t until I started to work in the photo industry, I started to see why.
By understanding how camera reads the room differently than the human eyes, I started incorporating key composition elements & principles into my staging. Because of this, I was able to pinpoint my mistakes, improve my home staging skills and refine my portfolio quickly.
By understanding design elements and principles, you will also be able to solve 99% of design problems you encounter in styling interiors through better composition and building the right color story that targets your potential buyers.
